L.A.

Adrienne's birthday and Christmas gift this year was a long weekend trip alone with Dad and Rachel. When picking a destination, the focus was on roller coasters. We picked a winner with Magic Mountain in LA.

We hopped off the plane bright and early at 9:30am and didn't waste any time. First stop, a Warner Bros. VIP studio tour. We learned tons about our favorite movies and TV shows. We were even lucky enough to run into Johnny Galecki from The Big Bang Theory, better known as David from Roseanne.

"Friends"
maybe the coolest part of the tour
"Central Park" from Friends

The Geller digs

"ER"

We were lucky enough to score some tickets to a live recording of a 2nd season episode of the Disney show "Pair of Kings". Having tickets wasn't a guarantee to get in, so we made it to the studio 3 hours early. The Kansans were first in line and scored front row seats! Adrienne won a cast photo which she had signed by all the cast members, except Mitchel (boo).

Heading to the hotel our first day in town, we happened upon the red carpet premier of the new Martin Lawrence movie, "Big Mommas Like Father, Like Son".

Day Two - We hit the town for some sightseeing. First stop, Hollywood Blvd.
We walked right over Jeanne Cooper's star. Shout out to the best soap opera ever, Y&R holla!

Next, a cruise down Sunset Blvd.
The always interesting, Venice Beach and the revealing Muscle Beach - yikes!
Sunset at Santa Monica Pier.

Finally, we squeezed in a drive by of Rodeo Dr. and the Beverly Hills Wilshire.

Day Three - Finally, the roller coasters! One year ago, you couldn't get Adrienne on anything but a kiddie coaster. All of a sudden, she's an adrenaline junkie. This girl only wanted to ride the biggest, scariest coasters...which also happened to be the rides with the longest lines. We arrived at the park at 10:30am and left at 7pm. Adrienne and Kevin rode a whopping 4 rides. Was spending 8 hours in line a waste? Not according to Adrienne.
