DEEP THOUGHTS by Adrienne

As I cleaned Adrienne's room today, I found a list in Adrienne's handwriting that had the following items on it:

Important List:
  • Watch Home Alone
  • Play with Molly and Macey

So-so List:

  • Read
  • Organize
  • Play with Christmas stuff
  • Take pictures
  • Call people

Not-So List:

  • Watch TV
  • Play with Max
  • Take a shower

I gotta say, the girl is organized ... and sweet to pencil in playtime with her little brother, even if he only made the "Not-So List".

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max

Max was talking to Kendall as she lay in her bouncer on the floor. He stopped immediately, looked at me, and said, "What's that smell?" He sniffed Kendall and said, "It's poop, Mom, Kendall pooped." Apparently we say that way too often because Kendall didn't stink and she didn't poop, he just felt the need to say it.

Kendall's New Kicks

Kendall got new shoes this week. She wanted to show them off to everyone. She's posing in them model-style, no smiling.

Owen's Visit

Owen and Aunt Kiley came to town on Sunday for Owen's appointment on Monday. Max played hard and was a sleepy-head Tuesday morning, so Owen had to wake him up.

The Weekend

Big sister, Adrienne, was over this weekend. Max followed her around all weekend, as usual. He is knocking on her door (Adrienne has learned to close it) first thing in the morning - "Adjren, I come in, Adjren... please." Adrienne played with the neighbors on Saturday. We went to church, then had some NY-style pizza at our new favorite pizza place after talking to Nana on the webcam that evening. Sunday morning Kevin and Adrienne went for a bike ride on the neighborhood trails. Rachel rode the bike with Max in the trailer to the park to wear him out before lunch and naptime. She ended up wearing herself out instead - that trailer is hard to pull.

The Funnies

Max discovered the comic section of the paper today. Here he is lounging in his Elmo chair reading the paper.
