Mac and Dorothy
Meet the newest Clark's, Mac and Dorothy. They were lovingly named by Max and Kendall after being won at a carnival at the BBQ contest. Max insisted on playing the throw-a-ping-pong-in-a-fish-bowl game. The two of them had two buckets full of balls and made exactly zero. Their stellar performances won them two fish. I'm thinking the carnival people need to start running the lottery.
Max's First T-Ball Game
Max went 1 for 2 at the plate. The other hit was very similar to this one, this one just didn't work out as well. Though he did get on base his first at-bat, he was subsequently thrown out at 2nd. For documentation's sake, I should also mention that the other team only made 2 outs on defense the entire game :) No fault of Max's, of course, just wrong place at the wrong time.

Max is 5
This seems like it was just last week.
How is this possible???
Max,
You are sweeter, kinder, smarter, cuter, more thoughtful, and FUNNIER than I ever thought any little boy could be. You are the "Deep Thoughts" king and we love hearing your interpretation of things going on in your world. Your laugh, sense of humor, and unintentional wit is priceless.
Check you out!

You've added so much joy to our lives these last 5 years, buddy, I hope we can give back a small portion of what you have given to us. Your dad, sisters, and I are so lucky to have you on Team Clark...

Skid-a-mar-ink-ee-dink
Max had a family picnic at school this week. Before the picnic we were invited into the classroom to watch a video and hear a song. Kendall scored a seat next to Max and his classmates. It was a great performance by Max, but check out the little poser to his right pretending to be a preschooler.

Max & Mom Day
When Kendall started going to school, Max and I had Tuesdays all to ourselves. We decided to start doing fun things that we can't normally do with a 2-year-old. Here's a list of some of the things we've done.
Science City
Two trips to the movies
Coterie Theater to see the play "Ben Franklin's Apprentice"
Kaleidoscope at Crown Center
I've really been looking forward to Tuesday every week. I'm going to miss these days when my big 5-year-old has to go to school every day.

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max
Max: "Mama, how long will my wildest dream come true?"
Rachel: "What's your wildest dream?"
Max: ''I want a real-life Woody."
