So Much For "The Coordinated One"

Grumpy Jumpy

Slugger at BATS... BATS at the K

The kids were able to meet Slugger when he made an appearance at Kevin's work to ring the bell at market closing. Max was beside himself all day, then freaked when he saw him in person. Not sure why, it's just a 7-foot-tall lion. At the last minute, he worked up the courage to ask for an autographed card. Kendall had what appeared to be an anxiety attack, so that was fun.
Later we headed out to the ball field, sat in the Hall of Fame suite, ate good food, and enjoyed the great seats until it was time to head out for some fun at the Little K.

Last Day of Summer Camp

Swimsuits, sprinklers, and popsicles... does it get any better?

Kinda Schweaty

This is the result of 30 minutes in the jump house on a sweltering Kansas day... and it was only 10am.

4th of July

a neighborhood parade
some fireworks
some sparklers
some corn in the braces
some snakes
lots and lots of smoke bombs
a cracker-eating contest
a little TP action

an "explosively" good time!

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max

Rachel: (pointing to our favorite Mexican restaurant) "Hey Max, what's that place over there?"

Max: "Mexico"

Left Behind

Kendall had some fun of her own while Dad was at work and Max and Mom were out of town.

Albuquerque Wedding

Since Baby Dex arrived earlier than originally expected, Max, Grandpa, and I loaded up and headed west for Kristal's wedding in Albuquerque. We left Friday morning, hung out and went to the wedding on Saturday, then drove back on Sunday. It was a successful first road trip for Max. As you can see we made the most of our short visit.

(Max tried his hand at photography, can you tell which ones are his? Hmm...not a very good subject in the upper left.)

(Geez Kenny, get in a few pictures why don't ya?)
