Christmas 2011

We spent Christmas Eve Eve and Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We attended Christmas Eve mass at the convent where Grandpa played Christmas hymns on the trumpet. That was a treat!

We hit the road around 8 pm on Christmas Eve. We had to hurry home so we could spread reindeer food, leave Santa a treat, and say good-bye to our friend Freddy the elf.

Here they are, Christmas morning, waiting to go downstairs and see what transpired while they slept.

and here's what they saw

Christmas fell on a Sunday, so Dad had Monday off work. Adrienne came over around mid-morning. We opened presents and played for two days straight. It was a good holiday.

Phil and Gail had us over for some gingerbread man decorating fun. It's a good thing we took pictures because they didn't last long. Yum!
