Lenten Sacrifice
Max made this art project in Sunday school and had to decide what he wanted to give up for Lent. They were taught that it had to be something they really like. The teacher thought it was pretty funny that he would "give up" a friend, she thought it was even funnier when she found out it was Grandma and Grandpa's dog (who, btw is a bit dramatic and demanding for a dog and not much of a "sacrifice" in my opinion - sorry Lainee). I was thinking this concept may be a little over his head. On the way home from church, we discussed how class went and I learned that he didn't give up the dog, he gave up "Lennie from the Wonder Pets", his favorite toy at the moment. Turns out Max knew what he was doing after all.

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max
After hearing the terrible news that he would not be getting dessert, the tears started rolling and Max said, "I'm not your boyfriend anymore either, Mom!"
PJ Day at School
Today was Pajama Day at preschool. Max sported some "Grandpa-Fritz-style" J's (flannel with collar and button-front) with trucks on them. He was accompanied by Linny, Tuck, and Ming-Ming too, as they were allowed to bring a favorite sleeping buddy.

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max
"Mom, I have two words for you... school, and Pajama Day, and swimming, and gymnastics, and..."

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max
While Adrienne read the bedtime story "Moosetache" to Max and attempted to pronounce "moostacheioed", Max encouraged her... "you'll get it, hon".

Sesame Street Live
An evening at the Sprint Center in the P&L with the Hebert's and our furry friends from everyone's favorite street. For Max, it was like the TV came to life, he kept up step for step and word for word. Kendall was mesmerized. It was a treat.
