Swim Lessons - Level Preschool II

Max squeaked by in Preschool II swimming and received his Preschool II certificate today. Coach Annie says he can do all of the tasks, but needs to let go of her when doing them. On to Preschool III next week!

First Softball Game

Here's Adrienne shortly after her first softball game. Poor kid broke her finger three days before her scheduled debut. She was pretty bummed about not getting to play, but she cheered hard for her team who won 17-6 (must have had something to do with the coaching). Go Rebels!

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max

"Mom, I like you."

"Mom, you look pretty."

and my personal favorite

"Rachel's funny."

(Makes all the poop I've handled worth it.)

Special Max

Posted by Picasa
Max was the "special person" at school last week, which meant...

creating the stellar poster above
presenting his poster to his class
bringing 3 items for show-and-tell
a special visit at school from Mom and Dad
holding the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance
and best of all
being the leader in line ALL DAY!

For show-and-tell Max brought his tapir, Wildcat Claw, and skeleton rain boots.
We took a video of his presentation, however, it is way too long to post. All I can say... pure entertainment. He even had a pointer.

'Tis the Season

Max is finally able to try his Christmas present outside.
And his feet FINALLY reach the pedals!

DEEP THOUGHTS by Max

Rachel: "Max, there's your gym teacher."
Max: "Where? Which one, Mom?
Rachel: "That one, I don't know his name. The bald one."
Max: "Oh, Grandpa."

Good Try, Mom

In an attempt to keep Kendall from screaming bloody murder, we visited the less creepy-looking Easter bunny this year... no dice.

A Close Shave

Max got his sticky little hands on one of Kevin's razors and I busted him trying to be like Dad. He was running that razor right over his top lip. Unfortunately for Max, Dad didn't fill him in on the reason why he switched to an electric razor. Max's efforts awarded him a few minor cuts on his lip. An hour after shaving, Max let me know that his lip still hurt. I said, "That's called razor burn buddy, don't forget it."
PS - Sorry for the "boog" shot.

Walkin' the Dog

These Two...

Max and Kendall were looking so cute on our way to visit the Easter Bunny, I had to try to get a good shot of them before leaving the house... when will I learn??? Here's what I got (in chronological order). Picture 8 was about three seconds after picture 7.
